OCLDTC 45 - I Love You

Well, it is Christmas Eve and Our Craft Lounge posted their challenge today so, I had to make a card for it. I can truly say it is not my best but I did have fun making it!

The stamp set used is an older set called: “Tree-mendous Love”.  I also pulled a heart from a second set - “ Out for a Spin”.  The red card stock background was placed in a Cuddlebug embossing folder to add flourishes to the background.  I used my large Nestabilities Scalloped Rectangle on the following two papers by K& Company. “Ka Zoo Scalllop Stripe" and Ka Zoo Pink Polka Dot".  I cut the stripes in have and mounted it on top of the pink polka dot.

The hearts are hung using a very light pink ribbon and the pearls were added just for fun.  I placed the giraffe under the hearts as if they were hanging from a tree.   The sentiment, “I Love You” is also from the set.  My corner rounder was used to round the four corners of the card but you can not tell that from the picture.

The Copic Markers that were used included:  Y11, Y15, E51, E53, G14, R81, R83, and R85.

Knowing  this is the busiest time of year for everyone, I sincerely thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Merry Christmas and Happy Creating!
